These are the terms you agree to by using Tidy Find. The important one is the second section, so if you read nothing else, read that.
Tidy Find is operated by Tidy Find. In these terms, “I” means that operator and “you” means you, the person using the app. By creating an account you accept these terms.
Tidy Find gives you estimates, not advice. It looks at what comparable items are selling for and works out what you would likely keep after fees and postage. That is a forecast built on public market data, and forecasts are wrong sometimes.
Every buying decision is yours. A “Buy” verdict is not a guarantee an item will sell, or sell at that price, or sell at all. I am not a financial adviser and Tidy Find is not financial, investment or tax advice. Do not treat it as the only basis for spending money.
Prices move, listings vanish, an item's condition matters more than a photo can capture, and marketplace fees change without either of us being told. Use the numbers as a well-informed starting point and apply your own judgement on top.
You need an account to use the app. Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give accurate information when you sign up, and tell me at support@tidyfind.co.uk if you think someone else has got in.
One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.
Please do not:
The scan and listing limits exist because each one costs me money in third-party fees. Deliberate attempts to get around them are grounds for suspending an account.
Tidy Find is free to use within the free plan's limits. Pro and Business are paid subscriptions, billed through Google Play, which renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Google is the seller for subscriptions, so Google's payment terms apply alongside these. I do not see or store your card details.
Switching plan or billing cycle replaces your subscription in Google Play rather than adding a second one. Moving up starts straight away, and the unused part of what you have already paid is credited as extra time on the new plan. Moving down starts when your current paid period ends, so you keep what you paid for until then.
Cancel any time in Google Play. You keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that. Deleting your Tidy Find account does not cancel the subscription — you must cancel through Google Play.
Refunds are handled by Google under its own refund policy. If something has gone wrong, email me anyway and I will do what I can.
For a limited time after launch, Quick Look and Amazon UK prices are included on every plan, free plan too. The app shows the date the offer ends. After it ends they become part of the Pro and Business plans, and the free plan keeps a small number of Quick Looks a day. Nothing you pay for is taken away when the offer ends.
Quick Looks have a daily allowance, which resets at midnight UTC. A Quick Look that finds no price is given back, up to three a day. On the free plan, Quick Look may also pause for the rest of a day if demand across all free accounts is unusually high. Paid plans are not affected by this.
Features and limits may change as the app develops. If I reduce something materially in a plan you are paying for, I will tell you before it takes effect. Price rises for existing subscribers require your consent through Google Play's own process — nobody can quietly raise what you pay.
I will keep the app running as reliably as I can, but it depends on services I do not control, including eBay's, OpenAI's and Keepa's. There may be downtime, maintenance and occasional failed scans. A scan that returns nothing usable is refunded to your monthly allowance automatically.
The app is provided as it is. I do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
The photos you take and the records you enter stay yours. You give me permission to process them only to run the app for you — identifying items, pricing them, and showing you your own analytics. Nothing more. The privacy policy sets out the detail.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by these terms.
Beyond that: I am not liable for money you lose on a purchase, for stock that does not sell, for profit you expected and did not make, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you have paid for Tidy Find in the twelve months before the claim.
This is the practical consequence of the second section. The app helps you decide; it does not decide for you, and it does not underwrite the outcome.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. I may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so I will tell you why first.
These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when. If a change materially affects you, you will be told in the app, not left to spot it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
